Be More Chill

Be More Chill landed on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre, then transferred to London’s West End and Tokyo. Ghost created the complete video and projection design for every production.

TIME called it “a candy-colored musical for the internet age”, a design that evolved with the story, seductive and playful in Act I, glitchy and menacing in Act II. The content was built to overwhelm in high-energy sequences, and then recede, allowing actors to hold focus in intimate moments.

Working closely with scenic designer Beowulf Boritt and lighting designer Tyler Micoleau, we intentionally blurred the line between set, lights, and projection to create what TheaterMania called “eye-popping digital projections… the craziest party on Broadway.”
